Each year, the Lucie Foundation and the International Photography Awards (IPA) invite a distinguished person within the photography community to be a Guest Curator for the annual IPA Best of Show Touring Exhibition. This year, it is our absolute pleasure to announce that David Clarke, Head of Photography at Tate, will be assuming the 2014 honorary position in continuation of this prestigious curatorial legacy.

"I feel greatly honoured to be asked to be the Guest Curator for Best in Show IPA 2014. Having always been immensely impressed by the consistently high standard of entries the IPA Awards attract, it will be both a challenge and a pleasure to carry out my task. I greatly look forward to it", offered David Clarke.

The 2014 Best of Show gallery exhibition will premier in New York and will launch a week of celebrations and photography-filled events preceding the Lucie Awards Gala taking place November 2, 2014, at Carnegie Hall.

The Best of Show exhibition will then begin its worldwide tour which will include openings in Torino, Italy, Paris, France, Bangkok, Thailand, and two destinations in the U.S.: Hillsborough, North Carolina, and Los Angeles, California where it will take place as a part of month-long festival of photography
celebration – Month of Photography Los Angeles (MOPLA).
