Entry Description: Still life photography of Hommage products for their website. Each image was carefully discussed and planned in order to tell a story; suggesting narratives, histories for the product and the type of man who would use them, evoked simply through lighting, colour and the creation of a scene using little resources.

Tasha Ong comes from a multi-cultural background: born in Australia, she spent her childhood in Brunei and Singapore, her adolescence in England and her early adult life in France and America. Tasha has a longstanding interest in the visual arts, winning first prize for Brunei in the Mitsubishi Festival of Asian Children’s Art in 1991. After graduating from Brown University in 2007 with a degree in the Theory of English literature (honours in creative writing) she continued her training in the visual arts at the Spéos photographic institute in Paris, where she obtained her masters in professional photography in 2008. Tasha lives in Paris, where she has recently begun work as a freelance photographer and writer. She dedicates the rest of her time to her personal work.
