About the Artist:

Lilya Corneli, Armenian artist living in Hamburg/Germany started doing photography in 2002. She combines true art photography with a unique style of post processing in Photoshop that she has developed. She works in Portrait, Nude, Fashion, Still Life areas. Her work was featured various art and photography galleries and magazines. She says about her pictures: “My work always evolves from intuition. I understand my images as the result of an emotion which emerged at the time of their creation, and not as much as expression of precise visual ideas. My images seem raw, in other words: simply emotional. The best way for me to express these emotions is visual expression.” Education: Master degree in International Economics Exhibitions: (selected ) November 2004, Ottawa , Canada ( solo ) November 2004, Hamburg , Germany February 2005, Yerevan , Armenia ( collective: Red Apple of Discord ) July 2005, Bobbio , Italy (collective: Imagina ) November 2005, Tokio , Japan ( collective: Terzoocchio Imagina ) March 26, 2006 , Evora, Lisbon July 2006, Exhibition in Bobbio, Italy September 2006, Fotofusion Group Exhibition in Moscow November 2006, Personal exhibition in Prague, in Galerie T Studio April 2007, Group exhibition in Lumas Berlin and Lumas Soho, NY April 2007, Exhibition at Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art - Fukuoka Japan May 2007, Group exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine May 2007, Exhibition with Oleg Dou, Brussels, Espace 22 gallery December 2007, White Fair, group exhibition, Brussels, Espace 22 gallery March 2008, Personal Exhibition in Sesto San Giovanni - Milan, Italy May 2008, Green Shades, Milan, Museo di Milano November 2008, Terzoocchio Exhibition FujiFilm Foto Salon, Tokio, Japan January 2009, BOUDOIR - un soupçon de sensualité Lumas Paris April 2009, New to the Eye, ArtMBassy gallery, Berlin July 2009, Group Exhibition, Brussels February 2010, Better Halves, personal exhibition, Hamburg
