The Al Dhafra festival is an annual event held in Abu Dhabi.It focuses on instilling national identity and a love for culture and heritage in the younger generation.

Camels are bought and sold during this festival,Owners and breeders throng the Al Dhafra festival to do brisk business.There is also a camel beauty contest [Camel Mazayen] and it focuses on two specific races Asayel and Majaheem[light skin and dark skin camels].The prize money is big for the winners with million of dollars in prize.

Spanish photographer Victor Romero always had an interest in photography from a young age. After abandoning his law degree in Spain, he pursued his passion and studied photography, photojournalism and documentary photography in England and Wales. Along with work published worldwide for the Times, The Independent, El Mundo, Washington Post and the New Yorker, he has also produced work for international news agencies such as Associated Press, Reuters and The European Agency. Always on the lookout for new challenges, after covering international fashion shows, sports and political news, he decided to specialise in architecture and interior photography, an area of speciality that he has been successfully doing for the past six years. His work has been re-produced on London cabs to billboards in Berlin. Commissioned by Explorer Publishing, he has produced six photography books, in addition to work for clients such as Emirates Airline, Shangri-la, Barclays, Swarovski, Porsche, Redbull, among many others.
