Entry Description: This is a series looking at the lobbies of middle-class New York buildings in and around the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. These are places that have been frozen in time and while preserved, they represent a rare glimpse of the time they were constructed - the detailing, paint colors, artwork and materials of another era.

In February 2008, I retired from a 28 year career in investment banking to pursue other interests. I started taking photography courses at ICP and became committed to developing as a fine art photographer. I have focused increasingly on urban landscape and explore the natural and man-made landscapes of the New York area.
