| About the Artist: Justyna Badach was born in the Soviet Union and spent her childhood in Poland. She received a BFA in Photography and Art Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an MFA in Photography at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. Her work has been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and Internationally. These include, The Corcoran Gallery Washington D.C., Gallery 339 Philadelphia, Emory University, Atlanta, Griffin Museum, Winchester and Lee Ka Sing Gallery, Toronto. Badach has been the recipient of numerous grants including the PA Council for the Arts, Leeway Foundation, Independence Foundation and a finalist for the Pew Fellowship in the Arts. |
