| About the Artist: Hailing from Spain, Jesús Madriñán was originally born in a little
Galician city called Santiago de Compostela in 1984. Four years ago, he moved to Barcelona where he finished his degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. After finishing the degree he started freelancing as a young artist after attracting curators with his website resulting in
numerous exhibiton offers.
Having shown his work in several exhibitions back in Spain, amongst giving talks about photography and teaching in the University of A Coruña and the SGAE (Spanish Society of Artists), he then studied an MA in Communication
Design and Photography at Central Saint Martins in London. After exhibiting at the "We Are Arts" Gallery at Central Saint Martins, "The Gallery" at the London College of Communication, the "Chepstow" Gallery at Notting Hill and
the "Mall Galleries. Federation of British Artists" he has bagged himself a place as one of the lucky few belonging to the selection of artists that Nokia promotes from its plataform to support art and young artists called
Qualid. |
