Entry Description: In Argentina, there are close to 51 annual body building contests. Hundreds of athletes compete, and by means of perseverance and passion, they expose much more than their muscles.

Ximena Etchart was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1981. She got her bachelor degree in Advertising at UADE, and has always studied photography aswell, as a mean of expression. She began studying, analogic, black & white photography and laboratory. She has then specialized in fashion & advertising photography at Fotodesign with Aldo Bressi, in Argentina. She has also extended her formation in lighting in recognized centres of prestige in Buenos Aires, in search of a personal style. A couple of years later, she decided to move to London to study at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion. Back in Argentina, has started photojournalism at ARGRA (Association of Graphic Reporters of Argentina) where she’ll still continue to study next year, always in search of new horizons. She began her photographic career after some years dedicated to advertising & communication. She currently lives and works in Argentina, where she develops her career in the field of editorial & fashion photography, among other things.
