Entry Description: A portrait series that influenced by 18th and 19th century painting, describing individuality and personality, recreating an outlook and the inner side of a person is such a spiritual activity. By using this classical form of portraits, addressing a modern social issue or emotions instead of praising a social class.

A photographer/Artist born and raised in China. Currently based in New York City and Brooklyn. Started with an associate in fine art as a painter for 4 years and later attended School of Visual Arts, as a photography major. mainly focusing in exploring the genre of portraiture, combining classical/tradition painting technic with photography, researching the connection between the history of photography and comtemporary art.
