| About the Artist: Haydee Yordan was born in Puerto Rico, studied Art at University of Puerto Rico, masters degree courses at Center for Advanced Studies for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, lived in Italy while studying Montessori education and has taken photography courses at New York University and Puerto Rico Art League. Her interest in photography has always been present. It was later in life she has been able to express her most intimate feelings through fine art photography. Her work consists mainly of abstract images of nature where the sea and the sand are markedly present and are witnesses of her caribbean culture. Has exhibited at VII International Biennale of Photography, Vermont Photo Space Gallery, Pamil Fine Art Gallery and has published in National Geographic Traveller magazine. Haydee’s artwork has received excellent newspaper reviews. |
