Entry Description: The chilly winter afternoons are enough to deter most people from the water, but it's the best time of day for ocean shots like these, especially when the clouds diffuse an erupting sun. I'd been patiently waiting for the right cloud structure and wave formation for months and it finally happened. Persistence paid off with this shot, along with timing and some good old fashioned luck.
