Entry Description: In fall, at dawn, among grass fatigued by summer sun, you can come across masterpieces bathed in the morning dew created by the smallest weavers in the world – they are spinning their graphically captivating, lyric forms.

Malgorzata Skoczylas, Poland Education Background: 2007-2008 The International Forum of Photography- MFF KWADRAT in Wrocław, diploma obtained in 2008. 1988-1994 The Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, the Ceramics and Glass Faculty, diploma obtained in 1994. Małgorzata Skoczylas designs ceramics and interior decorations. In 2007 she discovered photography, which soon afterwards became her dominant fascination, as well as a new and significant means of artistic expression. Since 2009 she has been a member of the Polish Photographers’ Association. She teaches the composition of a picture at the International Forum of Photography Square in Wrocław. She creates subjective documentaries, penetrating both the urban space and various aspects of nature. As to the latter, her interests, situated in the aesthetics of minimalism in form and color, are focused on the image itself. Her pictures are, in a way, detached from the surrounding reality. In her way of recording, she usually goes further than conventional representation- it is a specific game with the stereotypes offered by our consciousness.
