Entry Description: This was done as the May 09 campaign for Anthropologie, a fashion retailer. We wanted to express the ethereal feeling of their summer collection.

I was studying languages in school so nothing surprises me more than what I am doing today. I got my start in photography at a Toronto newspaper, where I worked as a fashion writer right after high school. I worked my way up to Fashion Editor and then became responsible for providing everything for my section, including photography. After learning the basics from the photojournalism-oriented shooters, I opened my own photography studio in the early eighties. Today, my work is exhibited internationally and it is widely collected by both public and private institutions, including the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Polaroid Canada and the USA. Most recently, I was honored at the 6eme Festival International de la Photographie de Mode, in Cannes. Ie won the Grand Prix de la Photographie de Mode 2008.
