Thank you for your patience throughout the jurying process! We have just barely met the deadline of the 18th to announce to you the winners and finalists for the 2009 IPA competition.

With each passing year, the IPA continues to receive incredible work from across the globe with the most captivating images. Our mission is to find and recognize the most deserving work through the eyes of our jurors and the visuals captured through the photographer's lens.

We will be inviting all finalists to join us at the 2009 Lucie Awards, where their work will be screened and the 2009 International Photographer of the Year (sponsored by AtEdge), Discovery of the Year and Deeper Perspective Photographer of the Year (sponsored by Blurb) will be revealed on stage, this year at the newly renovated Alice Tully Theatre, Lincoln Center, New York on Monday, October 19, 2009.

The IPA is one of the most competitive photography competition worldwide and this year was no exception. Thank you for creating and submitting such incredible and inspirational work.
