How to Submit to the Competition

Simply fill out the entry form and send it with your work to IPA
Each photograph must be accompanied by a submission form listing your name, contact information and entry fee. You may submit as many photographs as you like; you may also enter a single photograph in as many categories as you deem appropriate.

Ways to Submit Your Entries
You may submit your images to our contest in any one of the following ways:

1. Use our online entry form to enter the image details, upload your photographs and pay the fees.
2. Use our online entry form to enter the image details and pay the appropriate fees, then mail the receipt along with your image to our office.
3. Use our online entry form to enter the image details, then mail your payment along with your image to our office.
4. Use our online entry form to print the form, then mail it along with your payment and image to our office.
5. Download a printable PDF version or our entry form, complete it by hand and mail it our office. (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader Plugin)

Entry Fees

The International Photography Awards seeks to reach all photographers around the globe. In an effort to make the competition internationally accessible, we've prepared a discounted rate for certain countries based on an analysis of each country's GDP per head. Please click here to view the list of discounted countries. All other countries are subject to the following entry fees:

Professional Photographers
$35 for each photograph entered
$60 for each series (2-5 images with a unifying theme) or book
Same photograph or series, additional category: $25 per category

Non-professional Photographers
$25 per photograph entered
$50 for each series (2-5 images with a unifying theme)
Same photograph or series, additional category: $15 per category

Student Photographers
$15 per entry
$30 for each series (2-5 images with a unifying theme)
Same photograph or series, additional category: $10 per category

Please read the rules of entry carefully before submitting a photograph.

Winner Notification
Except for the International Photographer of the Year Award™ and the New Discovery of the Year Award, all other winners will be announced online at the end of August after the final submission deadline. The work of all 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners will be published in the IPA Annual Awards Book eight to ten months after the announcement.
