Black and white photography of ancient sites in China printed on cotton rag paper, then cut and hand-stitched together with linen thread in a classic American quilt pattern.
After graduating with a BFA from University of Missouri/Columbia, Kozlen went into advertising but has always continued to make art on the side. She's been doing photography for about 10 years, and has found that traveling has given her great inspiration. She works primarily in black and white unless the subject screams out for color. Kozlen has recently been exploring using photos as part of mixed-media.
