LEZAJSK, POLAND -MARCH 11-12: Hassids attend the annual pilgrimage to Tzadik Elimelechs grave on March 11-12, 2015 in Lezajsk, Poland. Annually, thousands of devout Jews perform the pilgrimage to pay respects at the Great Jewish leaders burial site. Religious rites include laying prayers on his grave, using him as a proxy to communicate to with God, it is also believed that a visit to the Rabbis grave will ensure not dying in sin. Historically, the site has endured vandalism, however in 1998 a restoration improved the site and the Mikvah or bath for ritual immersion was expanded and a hotel was set up to accommodate the masses.
