BLACK – WATER is a work that attempts to unpack the changes to our cultural landscape brought about by thirteen years of continuous war. The series includes photographs made in training camps, military installations, and mosques in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and New York, exploring the relationships between the Muslim world, the Western military-industrial complex and the individual forces operating within it.
