Reynisdranger are basalt sea stalks situitated under the mountain Reunisfjall near Vík í Myrdal, a small village in the southeast coastline region of Iceland. The primordial power of the coastline is hypnotic; it echoes a haunting primitive time of earth. I have returned here numerous times to capture its evocative myth-like resonance on the human imagination.
