Sometimes the vibrant buds and new growth found in the spring can rival the fall colors we expect to see. I found this glimpse of spring in New Hampshire's Crawford Notch, White Mountain National Forest after clearing rain and mist. The rains helped saturate the colors while the mist helped give that perfect touch of mystery frequently found at this time of year in the mountains.
