During a flight over the Fjallabak Nature Reserve in the Icelandic Highlands, I was able to capture the abstract pattern of mountains, snow fields, and glacial rivers during the summer melt. The Rhyolite hills are volcanic in origin and can be found in a variety of colors. The snow helped define the texture and relief of the landscape.
