For the past 20 years or so, the word 'fashionista' has been used in the fashion industry to refer to design leaders and clothes trend setters. "Life As A Fashion Show" steps into the life of two sisters, who have personified fashionistas well before the word was invented. Born in the 1940's in Bordeaux, France, two sisters, one named Elise, was the haute couture designer and fitter and the other named Caroline, her business partner, have been leading figures in the fashion world and living in New York City for more than 50 years. Elise and Caroline worked with top designers and fitted some of America's famous people that include Jacqueline Kennedy and President Lyndon Johnson's daughters wedding at the White House.
