To eat. To touch. To fertilize. To connect between the existence and the inexistence. The pain. The limit. The pregnancy. The thing inside the belly of every creature. When objects form an intimate connection, their boundaries become ambiguous. The meaning and sensuality of each melt into the collective. Objects become indefinable. They are crystallized in the moment when the thing is about to but has not yet happened. Therefore the pearl, the small object that forms around a grain of sand inside the shell, is used as a metaphor for this project. Because the nature of the pearl is the precious fetus of impurity.
