As part of my photo philanthropy I shoot people facing grave illness as part of their legacy. This image was taken at MD Anderson. Nicole and Fred were to be married some weeks later but she was advised to push the date up as her prognosis was not good. The wedding took place in the hospital 2 days after she heard the news from the doctor. Nicole lost her battle to cancer just 2 weeks later. She rallied for this song and dance with her new husband. Inspiring.
