Kadidja and her son collect water from their receding river bed. It is their only source of water. The climate and the affects of El Nino is hitting her village of Uom Hadjr very hard with erratic and exceptionally high temperatures and a lack of rainfall that has ruined her crops for three consecutive harvests. Kadidja and her community are facing famine and starvation in rural Chad.
