Part of a long-term project about inland Sardinia's most ancient traditions, this series of images explores the carnivals of Mamoiada, Lula and Ottana and their traditional masks (the "Mamuthones" in Mamoiada, the "Battileddu" in Lula and the "Boes e Merdules" in Ottana).
