On April the 30th 2016 The Kenya Wild Life Service burned the largest store of elephant ivory and rhino horn ever assembled in one place. During that time, hundreds of people came to pay their respects to the tusks that were assembled here.105 photographic portraits were taken to signify the 105 tons of ivory that lay on the pyres. Activists, mothers, daughters, soldiers, ministers, celebrities and everyday Kenyans stood for portraits to demonstrate their commitment to ending the ivory trade.
