Macha Contemplation is a tribute to Czech romantic poet Macha and his poem Maj. This poem is in fact very tragic and the tragedy is coming into place when it is not expected, to the world full of love... Macha really created sort of "photographic" manual - by reading you can find and imagine a lot of scenes there. This is my first attempt for personal project, motivated by literature. I very much believe, that there is a clear connection between different forms of art – painting, photographing, literature, music, theatre, movies,… Regarding style /post process I am really influenced by impressionists, but also by William Turner pictures, mostly by his water color sketches. In the end I suppose to have ca 20-30 images to complete the full project within this year. Here I submitt selection of 5 pictures.
