I awoke early and made my way down to one of my favourite beaches near my home for a sunrise shoot. I had predicted a beautiful sunrise the night before but to be honest didn't realise just how special it would be. Standing barefoot on the edge of this ledge, it began to rain lightly as waves rolled around my knees - I felt completely at home. After spending some time watching the waves break over the shelf in front of me, I waited for the sunrise to peak and released the shutter, timing the water movement perfectly. What a blessing it was to experience this brief but incredible moment.
