The Good Friday procession in Queretaro is one of the most popular ones in Mexico. A mixture of mysticism and zeal fills the streets of the colonial downtown. The streets are full of people waiting for this religious event every year. Being part of the parade is a big honor. All the persons of the different contingents are chosen one year before and must prepare physically and spiritually for this day.
