This image of the Cape Hatteras fishing pier for me represents the enduring spirit of the human race. Inspite of being repeatedly battered by storms, the pier while broken still stands making its last stand. In this age of prevalent violence, this image is dedicated to all those who stand tall and refuse to back down from the dark forces.
