Was an amazing experience , I watched this heron hunt for an hour. catching rainbow trout smolts out of Emory creek mouth as it flows into the Fraser river. By this time this heron was comfortable with me so I was only lie 10 feet away. He did this dance in the water, making these neat poses. And what he was doing was herding a sick sucker fish into the shallows. He quickly caught it and brought it on shore where I was able to capture these amazing pictures of him stabbing and then swallowing the suckerfish whole! Location: Emory Creek BC, Canada
