These is a series is called "Askoiana" Portraits, I named like up because it is show an indigenous men from the North East of Argentina; close to border to Paraguay that area is called "The impenetrable Chaco"and it is very undeveloped and poor area. I have been in contact with him so long and my intention was seeking for his natural expression, now is working as artisan, he doesn't remember his childhood because all his family was executed for during a military regime. Argentine indigenous groups have two of the risk factors for rebellion. Although they are geographically concentrated, they do not have a regional base. They have also suffered from moderate levels of government repression in recent years. However, the likelihood of more than sporadic violence is low, as Argentina is a democracy, and there have been some efforts at reform.
