The Pacu Jawi is held in West Sumatra after the field has been harvested. It's more of a test of the animal than a race. Prospective buyers look at the performance of the cows/bulls as they run the short distance through knee deep water at times. The rider places one foot on each harness and pulls himelf by the tails. It's pure raw adrenaline.
