Five images from an ongoing series on the Olympic National Park Rainforest. This huge area consists of several river valleys on the Olympic Peninsula in the state of Washington. It is characterized by incredible rainfall, hundreds of creeks, streams, and rivers. An enormous amount of vegetation includes fungi, ferns, mosses, and a huge amount of different kinds of trees, both evergreen and deciduous. My photography tends to focus on relatively small areas, most often on the vegetation, but occasionally on water features.
