In these days of corporate secrecy, modern industrial facilities are shielded from public view by areas of thick woodland planted specifically to discourage prying eyes. At night, particularly in winter, these barriers become semi-transparent offering glimpses of a Dantesque world of blinding arc lights, hissing steam and billowing clouds of smoke. The imagination of passers by can run riot with thoughts of medieval monsters and fire-breathing dragons.
