San Blas is a remote archipelago of the Guna Yala, home to the Guna, an ancient people of Panama. They eschew modern technology and try to live pretty much as their ancestors did, carving canoes from felled trees and fishing for food. I spent two days on San Blas with a "learning group" of six persons. Tourism is not highly developed in that region, Photographing people was forbidden.
