These photographs were all taken within about two hours of each other as I zigzagged my way through the Chicago Loop from north to south. The effect these photos have on me is that of a viewer observing a city from the inside out, as opposed to the outside in- an anti-cityscape if you will. The slight light that often passes through such tight urban spaces can even leave one feeling as if they were imprisoned at times, but then again, what an interesting prison to be held in!
