The selection of images that I present to the competition is part of a larger work on migration in Greece. The pictures were taken on the island of Lesvos and in the small village of Idomeni. These two places are the main stages of the journey of asylum seekers to reach Europe. In 2015, half of the refugees arrived in Greece had landed in Lesvos. If the island is the entrance to Greece, Idomeni is the last step before the border with Macedonia. in 2016, in the refugee camp of Idomeni, thousands of migrants have waited months before continuing their journey to Europe.
