Namibia is one of the most arid countries in sub-Saharan Africa and it makes it very vulnerable to the effects of climate change that affects water availability and rainfall patterns. Wildlife and vegetation are constantly adapting to increasing desertification and recurrent drought but it becomes more and more difficult. This reflection of giraffes drinking from the manmade waterhole in Etosha National Park, Namibia, made me think of a mirage - seeing water when there is none around.
