Cambodia During the terrible drought and heat wave of 2016 in which thousands of livestock animals and several people lost their lives throughout South East Asia and in which temperatures of 116,6 F were frequently reached, the Cham Muslim community of Cambodia called for an urgent gathering which was done outside of one of the main Mosques of Phnom Penh and to which Cham Muslims arrived from all the provinces; the exclusive purpose was to pray for the rains to come back.
