Series of images for a MULTIPLEX cinema chain. Valentine Bo, Photographer: My proposed idea of advertising images illustrates a modern and, quite possibly, a future idea of cinema: leitmotif is the elimination of the frontier that is the screen. The viewer becomes a direct participant of the events, the image turns surreal. The clear differentiation between characters and viewers blurs out and no one can tell where the stage ends ad where the real world begins. The effect of immersion - that is the reason people go to the cinema. Equally important is to note that the surreality of the scenes is achieved via quite real objects, by a "single shot".
