Kurdish community is the larger people of the planet without a nation. They are fighting since 1920 for the recognition of their self-determination rights. The Army of Ankara started a genocide to eliminate (culturally and physically) the Kurdish people. The repression that hit the Kurds resulted in an increasing Kurdish diaspora. In my photo shoot; a kurdish immigration grandmother at her new house in Izmir.
