Story

I grew up from a family that I personally don’t consider as a happy family. I used to live in tension every day. I remember how hard it was every time when I had to listen to my father yelling at others in the family, and how terrifying it was to see my him beat his wife with my own eyes. I cried and desperately implored my father to stop. I did all of what a young child could do to stop it from suffering, but it would never work, because my dad must always be right. Depressed, hopeless and impotent, I have been through all these feelings, but fortunately, I have survived. My parents are divorce now. This photo series describes what my father felt that day, I guess. I have forgiven my father, and forgotten most of what he did, and talked to him much more recently, but some of the memories will never stop haunting me for the rest of my life.

Entry Description
