I see this as a commentary on today's fake celebrities such as the Kardashians and the poor message it sends to today's young women. We live in a world where we glorify the fake and plastic. The cold, harsh lighting reflecting off the cellophane she is wrapped in represents the world's critical light that is shined on many women to examine their every "flaw". The red smeared lipstick symbolizes the materialistic appearance of beauty when deep down they are fighting with their insecurity and miserable feelings in their own skin. They feel trapped by their fame, yet they would not replace it for the world.
