I took this photos in past Holy Week in Madrid. I was looking for the strong sense of religiosity, the old traditions that remains in Spain and all the symbols that seem forgotten on 21st century. I choose black and white because i want to underline clothes, faces, details, and ceremonies that happens around a digital and globalized world. The ceremony takes me to ancient times. Fighting to survive and against a world less religious and worried about more material things. This photos were taken in Madrid during the Procesión of Cristo "The Poor"/ Cristo "El Pobre" on Holy Thursday.
