Disability brings shame in rural Malawi. Disabled children are often hidden away. But inspired by the mother of a disabled child that came to the Aquaid Lifeline Fund for help, the charity started the Dawn Centre. Regarded by many as the very best residential facility for disabled children and those with learning difficulties, it provides specialist education, physiotherapy, training for parents. It has become a beacon of hope.
