Those traditional houses for monks were located in Sichuan Province of China. They were built by hands for nearly 20 years to sustain the torture of extreme weather in this area. Most of them were built by the monk's family for the monk's housing in the temple area, so their styles are quite different. Unfortunately, they will be replaced by the modern accommodation in the near future.
