In 2016, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the coastal area of Ecuador, killing more than 650 people, leaving more than 16,000 injured and thousands without a home. At least 150,000 children were affected. SOS Children’s Villages is on the ground now assessing the damage and mobilizing their staff to support the people affected, especially children. Here by the end of 2016 SOS Children's Villages is now ready to raise additionally funds for all the families affected by the earthquake. In December I traveled to the affected areas to create content for a new fundraising campaign.
