Entry Description

In the 1920's, this neon red pegasus became a symbol for the city of Dallas when it was erected on top of the tallest building in Texas. On clear nights, the red glow from the pegasus could be seen from miles away. While the city has grown above and around the neon red sign, Dallas still remains the "Pegasus City."
